Excavator tooth points and adapters are crucial components of an excavator bucket, working together to dig and excavate soil and rock. The tooth point, also known as the tooth tip, is the sharp, wear-resistant part that comes into contact with the excavation surface. The adapter is a bracket or support that securely attaches the tooth point to the bucket's leading edge.

Proper shoe selection is very important for better machine performance and longer undercarriage life. The narrowest shoe possible that allows adequate floatation should always be selected.
